After Little Corn Island, we met our friend Wanda. She landed after a flight from London, in the capital city Managua. There isn’t much to do there, so we left the next morning and went to Granada, the old capital, a pretty colonial city. There was the usual central park with a church and municipal buildings.
We did a day out to Lake Apoyo, about 20 minutes drive from the city. We spend the day swimming, reading, kayaking and sunbathing.
