Whilst in El Salvador we headed up north to Ruta de las Flores, a route of tiny towns that are known for gastronomic markets, coffee and art, perfecto!
The first day we were there it rained, what else to do but eat a huge meat lunch at a local restaurant in the little town that we were staying Juayúa. In the hotel where we stayed each room was decorated by an El Salvadorian artist, this was ours:
The next day we got a chicken bus up and down the Ruta de las Flores to check out the other towns. Here are some of them which are also filled with art and markets.

Next back to Juayúa where we were staying for a feast, these lovely ladies cooked us lunch.
Yum yum, we were pretty happy.
